Custody vs. Ownership

  • Ownership: held by the NFT holder - verified on-chain 24/7

Redemption

Redeem Your Tokenized Frame

Owning the NFT gives you the right to redeem the physical frame from the SAFE Smart Gallery at any time. Redemption runs through the XRPresso escrow protocol - or manually through the contact form below.

How to Redeem

  • Option A - XRPresso (automatic): if your marketplace supports XRPresso escrow, initiate redemption on-chain. The NFT locks and the workflow triggers automatically - no contact form needed.
  • Option B - Manual request: use the contact form below. Select "Redeem my Tokenized Portal Frame" and provide your XRP wallet address, NFT Asset ID, and shipping location.
  • SAFE verifies NFT ownership on the XRP Ledger before processing any redemption
  • SAFE contacts the NFT holder to confirm the shipping destination and obtain quotes
  • Both parties agree on shipping costs before the frame is released
  • Frame professionally packed with archival-grade materials
  • Insurance arranged for full replacement value during transit
  • Tracking number provided before shipment leaves
  • The NFT is NOT retired upon physical redemption - it remains active on the XRP Ledger as permanent proof of provenance
  • Once shipped, SAFE custody responsibility ends - for any future sale, the NFT must transfer to the new owner with the frame

  • Shipping and insurance at the NFT holder's expense. SAFE obtains 2-3 quotes and presents options before shipment.
  • Preferred carriers: FedEx Art, UPS Art, or specialist fine art shippers
  • Frames ship in custom wooden crates - no soft-pack for LED frames
  • Confirm 110V vs 240V LED power compatibility before redeeming if outside USA
  • International shipping beyond USA and Canada: contact us to discuss timeline and availability

Non-tokenized Portal Frames are not housed in the gallery - they ship directly to you upon fabrication, with logistics coordinated manually during the commission.
